Dick Clark Dies at 82

Dick Clark the beloved host of "New Year's Rockin' Eve" and "American Bandstand" -- has died at age 82 from a heart attack. The family has not yet decided whether there will be a public memorial service for the multifaceted Clark, although Shefrin said, "There will be no funeral."

Dick Clark was a trendsetter & one of the most important men in the history of radio and rock and roll. "American Bandstand" launched the careers of everyone from BUDDY HOLLY , The JACKSON 5 to MADONNA.

Dick Clark loved art and originality, as displayed in his Malibu home styled after the Flintstones House. Clark recently put the house on the market for $3.5 million.
